Why we make products for The Nature Conservancy.

Those of you who know us well know that we don’t make OEM products for other brands unless it’s a friend we have a hard time saying no to.

But this year we made some products for an organization that chose IceFlame, and we were happy to make the products and package design for them. Because this organization’s philosophy is, to some extent, the same as IceFlame’s.

Their staff was interested in seeing us collect photos of melting glaciers, which coincided with their focus on climate change. Further, our approach to manufacturing products and after-sales is in line with their views on environmental protection, for example through free maintenance, which gives our products a long life. Unlike typical consumer products that are easily discarded.

People working for nature conservation organizations are often in the field and need warm products that are easy to carry, which are either durable enough to be repaired, and by offering free lifetime maintenance, we can ensure that these products are used for a long time, rather than being quickly discarded. Also, down products need to have traceability in mind to guarantee that animals are handled humanely, and the goose down we use is all RDS certified.

In addition to the commercial value, our ideal is to provide reliable products for people who love nature, while letting them enjoy contacting, understanding, and researching the environment and the wonders of life on earth, so that more people can establish empathy with nature, not only life but also the land, rocks, water, etc., and realize that man and nature are equal, it is like your neighbor, not a subordinate, and even more not a relationship between the dominator and the dominated.
